We are reviewing Bucharest's VisionApartments. Is it worth staying? How are the rooms? What about the facilities? Is the location convenient? What are the good and the bad?

We will let you know the positives and negatives you need to pay attention to, as sometimes a guest might not read the small letters. Let’s start then!

VisionApartments Bucharest boasts a prime location right on Calea Victoriei, the heart of Bucharest. This puts you steps away from the city's business district, cultural attractions, and top shopping areas. Getting around is a breeze with excellent access to public transportation. Universitate Metro station is about 500 meters away.

The building was renovated in 2023 and offers 106 apartments. Guests can indulge in a variety of amenities, including an indoor pool, an on-site restaurant, a ballroom, a gym and wellness area, and a conference room.

One of the main reasons that could draw you to stay there is the price, which is usually lower than the competition. But this in fact could potentially come with an extra cost. We are not implying it’s a hidden cost. It’s a detail you have to read prior to your stay. If you want day cleaning, you have to pay extra. If you want a towel change, you have to pay extra. If you want to throw away the garbage, you have to do it yourself. We actually mean take them out of the hotel, not just leave them out of your room door. If you want to clean the room yourself, you can pay to rent a vacuum cleaner from the front desk.

As you can see, the rooms have modern decoration. There are wall sockets around each side of the bed. In the bathroom you can use a shower option. But when we run out of soap, we had to buy ourselves. Right outside the toilet, there is a small bench with a microwave oven, a water boiler and a coffee maker. Have in mind that this is a basic room, for the budget traveller. There are naturally superior options.

An iron and a few wooden hangers are provided in each room, though the hanger count might not be enough for everyone. Here's something crucial to note: upon check-in, you'll find an inventory list detailing all the items in your room. It's essential to review this list and confirm everything is present to avoid any potential charges upon check-out.

Directly opposite the bed, a flat-screen TV provides entertainment options after a day of exploring Bucharest. A workspace featuring a desk and chair allows you to catch up on work or emails. For added comfort, an armchair offers a cozy spot to unwind.
