Greece Orthodox Easter Anastasi Resurrection Thessaloniki 2024 Θεσσαλονίκη Ανάσταση Πάσχα

Celebrating Easter in Greece is a sight to behold! On Easter Sunday (Pascha), crowds gather outside churches at midnight, holding lit candles from the Holy Fire. Bells ring, people greet each other with "Christos Anesti" ("Christ is Risen"), and the festive atmosphere fills the air. It's an exceptional experience!

In our video, representative of the Easter atmosphere, the faithful gathered holding lit candles to celebrate Easter 2024 outside Saint Fotios Orthodox Church in Thessaloniki, Greece.
