BRUSSELS CHRISTMAS 2016 TREE LIGHT SHOW CELEBRATIONS

BRUSSELS CHRISTMAS 2016 TREE LIGHT SHOW CELEBRATIONS

THE EVENT

December 2016 found Brussels
welcoming an almost 22 meters high Christmas tree.

Slovakia donated the tree from the village of Smolenice.

WHAT TO SEE

You can admire the decorated tree at the city’s Grand-Place.

Day or night people gather around the iconic square
to feel the Belgian Christmas spirit.

Every night of December takes place a sound and light show scheduled

Monday to Thursday, 17:00 to 22:00, every hour and
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 17:00 to 22:30, every half-hour.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

Don’t just be distracted by lights!
Turn your head also to the outdoor nativity set.

The Brussels Stock Exchange stands rather fancy this year
with a rather ambiguous glitter look.

SHOPPING IN BRUSSELS

For traditional Christmas shopping there is always
the safe bet of Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert.

From delicious sweets to holiday shopping there is a gift for every budget!

BRUSSELS SIGHTSEEING

Just plan ahead for some time to visit
the garden of Mont des Arts overlooking the city hall.

Another suggestion is the close-by Parc du Cinquantenaire
with the oversized Belgian flag at the triumphal arch.

Enjoy your Belgian Christmas!
