Luxembourg City railway station practical info.

This is the city’s main train station
(not to be mistaken with Brussels – Luxembourg train station in Brussels)

More than 80.000 passengers use the station daily.

The entrance with its impressive clock tower, is worth seeing as an example of Neo-Baroque style.

It is under the authority of the country’s railway company,
Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois.

The station is located to the south of the city, about 1.5 km from the center.

Next to Gare de Luxembourg is Gare Centrale quai 13 where from
flibco buses to Charleroi airport depart.

There is a taxi station in front of the train station.

Taxis usually charge about 10% more for night routes and even 25% on Sundays.

Luxembourg Airport is about 8 Km away, to the East.
