A Trip to Tinos (Τήνος) town in 4K by bestravelvideo.

We embark from Mykonos for the 18 Km distance to Tinos. To our left we manage to have a glimpse at Steve Jobs' legendary yacht Venus (0:10'') spotted sailing outside Delos island. After 40 minutes we disembark at the new port of Tinos. Tinos island has no airport so you can only visit by boat. Outside the church there is  a statue standing for all pilgrims kneeling the long path there. he Dormition of the Virgin Mary is celebrated on 15 August. Below the main church there is the torpedo that sunk the Greek Warship Elli in the port of the island 75 years ago. It is part of a museum exhibit within Tinos church courtyard. Religious tourism mementos are sold at gift shops outside the church of Tinos island. Farmers use to sell their goods at a street market before the new port.
